Polling

In 2021, Ballot PA commissioned a poll of 850 Pennsylvania voters to find out how they felt about Pennsylvania's closed primary system, and if they'd like to see the Commonwealth allow independents to vote in the primaries. Here are the results.

Analysis

It aims to answer questions like the following:

• Who are PA's independent voters?
• Where do they live?
• Where is the independent voter population in Pennsylvania growing?
• How might independent voters vote if Ballot PA were successful and they were given access to primary elections in Pennsylvania?
