Coalition Partners

Committee of Seventy- The Committee of Seventy leads the Ballot PA coalition. It is a nonpartisan civic leadership organization that advances representative, ethical and effective government in Philadelphia and Pennsylvania through citizen engagement and public policy advocacy.

Common Cause PA- Common Cause Pennsylvania has been building a better democracy in our state since 1970. Common Cause PA has won dozens of legislative and legal battles to expand voting rights, put an end to biased redistricting, get big money out of politics, and more.

Independent Pennsylvanians- Independent Pennsylvanians is an association of independent and independent-minded voters. Independent Pennsylvanians supports issues and campaigns at the local, state and national level designed to increase the visibility and power of the independent voter.

League of Women Voters of PA - The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan grassroots organization that helps voters to learn about government issues and candidates. LWV studies and discusses issues to help members understand government problems so we can make informed decisions when voting and let our elected officials know where we stand on the issues.

Philly Set Go- Philly Set Go works to unite, advocate for and empower millennials who live in the city of Philadelphia, regardless of political affiliation, to demand that local and state government address issues important to millennials ethically, seriously, and effectively.

Business For America- Business For America is a network of business leaders advancing better government and elections. Their mission is to make government efficient, effective, and accountable in order to establish a more competitive, innovative business climate in America.    

Open Primaries - Open Primaries is a nonpartisan national organization that advocates for open and nonpartisan primary systems, counters efforts to impose closed primaries, educates voters and policymakers, advances litigation, trains spokespeople, conducts and supports research, and participates in the building of local, state and national open primaries coalitions.

Pennsylvania Forward Party - The Pennsylvania Forward Party strongly supports election reforms such as Open Primaries, Ranked Choice Voting, and Independent Redistricting Committees. They aim to decrease the polarization in the current political system and build solution-oriented coalitions to solve problems, not serve political parties. Not Left, Not Right, Forward.

Pittsburgh Urban Magnet Project (PUMP) - PUMP is a nonpartisan community leadership organization with a mission to make Pittsburgh the most dynamic and diverse place by engaging, educating, and mobilizing all young people to create change in our community. Each year, we serve over 20,000 individuals, primarily under the age of 40, through our advocacy, civic, social, and recreational programming.

Veterans for Political Innovation - Veterans for Political Innovation is a mission to mobilize veterans and supporters to advocate for election innovations to make our political system less toxic and more competitive. Close to 50% of veterans are independent / unaffiliated voters - #LetAllVeteransVote!

RISE Veterans - RISE Veterans mission is founded on the principles of representation, inclusion, solidarity, and equity in service to minority veterans whether that be community, advocacy, or healing.

CARIE - CARIE works to promote the well-being, rights, and autonomy of older adults through advocacy, education, and action. As a leading advocate in aging, CARIE’s work advances the health, safety, and dignity of older adults from all socioeconomic, racial, and cultural backgrounds.
